Handmade placemats of birch-veneered wood in shades of smoky blue-grey with gold metallic trim. Appx 18 wide x 12 high and a little over 1/8 thick, each one is sanded, hand-painted with varying concentrations of color-rich wood dyes to dramatically enhance the natural grain pattern, and sealed with multiple coats of varnish infused with tiny coordinating shimmer for a brilliant sparkling finish. Final touches include delicate metallic gold accents and edges, three layers of thick high-gloss clearcoat, a matching felt backing to protect your tabletop from scuffs, and a clever two-piece construction that allows them to fold in half lengthwise for easy storage. Please note that this is a made-to-order item! Multiple passes with multiple shades/hues of stain and ample dry time for stain, varnish, adhesives, and clearcoat means turnaround time is currently appx 2-3 days from order date to ship date.
