Description

Spindle or 'dealgan', carved wood, a conical plying spindle with small knop at top, the base of the cone with grooves for yarn in the form of a cross cut on the underside. Black and white wool yarn wound together round spindle, with long length of attached brown wool wound round folded paper, and separate length of black wool also wound round folded paper.
