Description

Third-party products, including Bandai Wet Decals, each have different characteristics. Each characteristic can be classified by thickness, stiffness, softness and adhesion. If it is thick, the work becomes easier. However, there is a phenomenon in which adhesion and ductility are poor.On the other hand, decals that are too thin are difficult to work with. The most important part of creating these properties is a transparent thin plastic film coated on top of the decal. The composition and physical properties of this plastic film determine the decal characteristics of each manufacturer. The decal should be thin, tough and stick well.Various post-processing agents are used to achieve this purpose.Typically, Mark Setter, Mark Softer, and Mark Fit are used. These solutions make the decal more flexible, making it more adherent to areas with complex molds, and better adhesion due to the adhesive components it contains. However, softened decals make the job difficult. Also, the included adhesives make the area around the attached decal dirty. In order to compensate for these shortcomings, we propose to change the work method. After the decal is properly positioned and dried, applying this solution will make it easier to achieve your goal. The working method is as follows. As previously guided, move the decal and remove moisture appropriately. The decal does not move at this time, but that does not mean it is completely dry.Moisten the solution on a cotton swab and then rub the surface of the decal. You can work with the feeling of sweeping from the inside of the decal to the outside. This work has the effect of softening the fixed decal so that it adheres to the pla-surface.It also has the effect of better adhesion of the decal by reinforcing the adhesive component on the easily liftable edges. It also removes any unstable chemicals that may be present on the decal's surface, reducing the possibility of troubles during the finishing process. This processing step is not essential. However, if you do it with a little time and effort, you can get a little better results.
