I recently painted this set of 4 poinsettias, the painting began as red bloom, but they are unmistakably, poinsettia flowers. I used transparent and opaque watercolor paints, in red green and gold, I outlined some of the red colors to build the leafy petals of the poinsettia bloom. I will add all four for your liking.
