These 8"x10" edible printed wafer paper sheets are covered with small pink flowers and green leaves. You'll receive three sheets, which is enough to cover a 6" and 8" tier that's 4" tall. Printed wafer paper sheets are an easy way to decorate a cake quickly, and are easy for beginners to use. They're made from potato starch, vegetable oil, and water, and are gluten-free and vegan. The edible inks used to print the images on the wafer paper are food colorings. Printed wafer paper sheets can be used to decorate cakes, make edible flowers, cut out shapes for cookies, and are flavorless so they won't change the flavor of the icing. I've heard people call it waffle paper or rice paper, but those aren't correct! Wafer paper doesn't have a backing paper like icing sheets, so you won't have to worry about removing that. It doesn't really melt into the icing, so you can remove it from a cake before serving if you don't want to cut through it, but you can cut through it if you prefer. To cut wafer paper, you can use regular scissors, paper punches, or a craft knife. The paper doesn't cut exactly like normal paper because it's not real paper, it's a sheet of starch. You should be careful not to bend or twist wafer paper too much because it can crack if you fold it and the weather is dry. Humidity will make the paper softer, since moisture from the air will be absorbed into the wafer paper and make it more flexible.
