A team of researchers from the Centre for Education and Research on Macromolecules (CERM) at the University of Liège (Belgium) has developed an innovative process that rethinks the manufacturing of polyurethane (PU) foams without the use of isocyanates - highly toxic agents - while being recyclable. This study is published in the journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
