Ultimate Racing RC shock oil is made from 100% pure silicone oil and comes in a wide variety of weights to fine tune your oil filled shocks for the ultimate performance. A good starting point for most RC vehicles is 35 weight. A heavier weight shock oil (bigger number) slows down the the speed at which the shock travels which is generally better for smooth tracks, since it reduces the chassis roll for more stability. But, if too heavy, it can cause the tires to loose contact with the ground over the bumps. A lighter oil (lower number) is better for more traction on bumpy conditions, but also allows the chassis to roll more and can lead to bottoming out on the jumps. This is a 2oz bottle of Team Losi Racing silicone shock oil. Losi shock oil is made from 100% pure silicone oil and will not thin out in hot weather or thicken up in cold weather. The higher the weight number of the oil, the thicker the oil is. Losi shock oil is generally slightly thicker than Team Associated shock oil with the same 'weight' rating.
