The story of the drafting, finalizing, and ratifying the Constitution of the United States and Bill of Rights, along with what the Constitution and its amendments mean, is shared in this HUGE resource that includes coloring pages and copywork. Students will learn about the Articles of Confederation and its weaknesses, some of the leading men responsible for the Constitution, and some of the disagreements over what the Constitution should include. It also explains the separation of powers and what the Constitution means by looking at the body of the Constitution and each Article. It then explores each amendment, starting with the Bill of Rights and continuing through the most recent amendment. There are 135 coloring pages with large print, traceable copywork.
