We carry the best quality billiard felt. Our traditional felt is made from 75% Wool, 25% Nylon blend and 20oz per linear yard. Not only does it play great, but it's bathed in genuine Teflon to protect the cloth from stains and spills. It is manufactured with yarn made from both long and short fibers. It is the short fibers that stick up and give this traditional felt its characteristic “fuzzy” feel. Traditional felt needs a break in period to play at its optimal performance. It needs to be brushed in one direction in order to lay down its “fuzzy” nap. During this break in period it is normal to pill or shed some of its short fibers. Traditional billiard felt plays better and faster as it breaks in. Traditional felt has been used in the USA for over 100 years. Today this felt is available in dozens of colors and is a cost effective solution for covering your pool table slate bed and rails. Available in 8' or 9' size (9' is additional $25)
