Innovation. Design Thinking. Concept Testing. Identifying new ways to solve problems is a goal of any great marketer. I recently came across an interesting story. A young inventor from Ireland, Jane ní Dhulchaointigh, invented the world’s first moldable glue. Think of it like play doh for adults—small strips of light-weight glue, in 10 different colors, that come packaged in little sugar-like packets. You place the glue on any item, and for some time, it is plyable. However, by the next day it has magically turned solid. Time listed the product in their Top 50 inventions in the world. Understanding the process, from conception to commercialization, is quite fascinating. This is her story.
