10lb Fireline Beading Thread – Garden of Beadin

Fireline is a pre-waxed, braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on bead working. 10 lb. test will need a #10 English beading needle. This is the thickest Fireline we offer.

This super strong, flexible, pre-waxed braided beading thread is made from gel-spun polyethylene, one of the strongest fiber cords per diameter ever created. The permanent black color is not a coating or dye and will not rub off. Beadworkers and beadstringers will find that this new product feels and works better than the finest bead thread, yet is as strong as jewelry wire. Most beads will not cut this product. It does not stretch and knots easily. Similar to size D Nymo.
