The Waxed Cotton fabric itself is an antiqued finish giving you a more matt appearance that will produce a beautiful patina over time.
The fabric is entirely handcrafted in England, offering you a long-lasting jacket that is suitable to wear across all seasons. The details behind our jacket put style and comfort at the forefront. We use zips and trim details from premium suppliers, and use a unique Italian softly brushed cotton for our collar and hand warming pockets. If you are in-between sizes we recommend sizing up for this jacket style.

The Detail Behind Our Waxed FabricThe waxed cotton fabric used on our jackets was originally developed for seafarers travelling between Scotland and Scandinavia. This required the fabric to be unbelievably rugged and water-resistant. From these early origins, waxed cotton products have become a quintessentially British fabric used in outdoor wear, most famously used in the inimitable waxed jacket.
The hallmark of the fabric other than its raw performance properties are the natural markings it develops over time when handled and worn. This will give your jacket its own individual patina which looks better and better as it ages. It truly is a jacket that gains character as you wear it.

This reinterpretation of vintage French work jackets is crafted from soft, vintage cotton moleskin fabric which has been bio-washed. As it ages, it develops a cooler mood. Three outer pockets and one inner pocket are arranged in a balanced way on the front. The inner pocket and pear label are intentionally designed to show the stitching from the outside, creating distinctive, aged detailing. This generous-fitting French work jacket is perfect for a range of styles. Fits true to size.
