Star brite’s Salt Off® Applicator makes it easy and convenient to apply Salt Off®. The Applicator works with a garden hose and either an engine flusher unit or a spray nozzle. Star brite's Salt Off® is a biodegradable product that quickly and effectively removes salt deposits. It leaves behind a protective polymer coating to help guard against future salt deposits helping to prevent corrosion damage. It can be used to remove salt deposits from fiberglass, metal, vinyl, plastic and painted surfaces, as well as on fishing and dive gear. Use as a motor flush in I/O and outboard engines. Automatically mixes and dispenses Salt Off® Attaches to “ear muffs” to flush boat engine cooling systems with Salt Off® Attaches to a garden hose to apply Salt Off® to trailers, boat decks, railings and all other marine surfaces, as well as to fishing gear, dive equipment, motorcycles, cars, trucks and all other metal surfaces On/Off Switch to control flow of water or Salt Off® to surface being treated Mix ratio 1:512 (1 OZ per 4 GALLONS) Directions To remove salt deposits from exterior marine surfaces, trailers, dive gear, fishing rods & reels: Fill dispenser cup from the Salt Off® applicator with Salt Off® Concentrate. Attach one end of applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a trigger-type watering nozzle. Ensure black knob on the applicator is in the “On” position and the blue knob is in the “Mixture” position. Thoroughly saturate all surfaces that need to be treated, allowing Salt Off® to soak in for 5 to 10 minutes. Stubborn deposits may require light brushing. Rinse with fresh water and allow treated surfaces to air dry. To flush inboard and outboard engines: Fill Dispenser Cup with Salt Off® Concentrate. Attach one end of applicator to a garden hose and the other end to a flushing unit designed for your engine type. Ensure black knob on the applicator is in the “On” position and the blue knob is in the “Water Only” position. Run the engine to reach normal operating temperature. Once operating temperature has been reached, turn off the engine and turn the blue knob to “mixture” and verify the solution is flowing. Restart the engine and allow the engine to run until dispenser cup is clear, and the product has been used up. Salt Off’s polymer coating will protect the engine against future rust and corrosion.
