Titebond Speed Set Wood Glue is an extremely fast-setting, high solids PVA adhesive. It provides exceptional gap filling properties developing a bond stronger than the wood itself.
Titebond Speed Set Wood Glue is an extremely fast-setting, high solids PVA adhesive. It provides exceptional gap filling properties developing a bond stronger than the wood itself. This product offers excellent sandability, unaffected by finishes, and increases productivity through its shorter clamp time with no increase in viscosity. Titebond Speed Set is non-toxic and cleans up with water.

Application Guidelines
Application Temperature: Above 59 °F
Open assembly time: 2 to 4 minutes (70°F. / 50% RH)
Total assembly time: 8 to 10 minutes (70°F. / 50% RH)
Minimum required spread: 6 mils (typical), or 250 square feet per gallon.
Required clamping pressure: Enough to bring joints tightly together (generally 100-150 psi for softwoods, 125-175 psi for medium woods, and 175-250 psi for hardwoods)
Methods of application: Any method can be used for spreading as long as Open and Total Assembly Times are met (see above).
Cleanup: Damp cloth while glue is wet. Scrape off and sand dried excess.

Limitations
Titebond Speed Set Wood Glue is not intended for exterior use or where moisture is likely. For exterior applications use Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue or Titebond II Premium Wood Glue. Not for structural or load bearing applications. Do not use when temperature, glue or materials are below 59°F. Agitate adhesive monthly to reduce product settling. Adhesive is extremely fast setting. It is important to follow Assembly Time recommendations. Minimum clamp-time is 15 minutes. Longer clamp times may be beneficial. Read MSDS before use. Keep from freezing. Keep out of reach of children.
