Samson's Large Fid Kit has six tubular aluminum fids ranging in size from 1/2 to 1 in diameter. The perfect complement to Samson's Splicing Kit, which has five tubular aluminum fids ranging from 1/4 to 1/2 diameters. The combination will cover splicing ropes from 1/4 through 1 in diameter.

BLUE LINE THIMBLE The Blue Line Thimble is compatible with Samson’s high-performance, high-modulus synthetic fiber rope products such as AmSteel -Blue, Force-8, and DPX -75. The tubular gusseted design creates a high-strength thimble that protects the rope and maintains the proper bending radius when connected to mating hardware. The Blue Line Thimble is powder coated black.
