Roberto Bort (Spanish, b.1933) Offered is an ink and guache painting of a quiet pueblo scene with two women. sight: 12½ by 17½ inches frame: 18½ by 24¼ inches signed lower left, Roberto Bort, 1965 The painting is in good condition with some cockling/bubbling in parts (possibly from the nature of the paper used or the mounting method used). The glass has some spots on the inside which don’t affect the art. The matting shows some age and the frame corners are loose. Roberto Bort was born in1933 in Valencia, Spain. In 1956 he was awarded a scholarship to study art in Paris where he lived and worked for much of his career.
