Edwardian Antique Silk Ribbon Hand Made Needle Case Wool Leaves - The Gatherings Antique Vintage

Here's a sweet sewing find! A printed silk ribbon needle case in a small size. So perfect to fit with a doll. A hand made case of cardboard covered in a floral ribbon on the outside. Stitched to the edge of the case is narrow pink ribbon.

This is such a sweet little Edwardian bag. Both panels have been decorated with floral panels against against a dark blue border. The sides and base have also been decorated with a band of pretty flowers. The metal frame is just gorgeous, the front has a wonderful row of goldtone metal flowers and leaves, the back and side are engraved with a very fine geometric design.
