One of my favorite sights of spring are the redbuds in bloom. The pink/purple color on the branches bring woods and gardens to life in early spring. Now imagine that turned up to eleven. That's what you get with Pink Pom Poms. The size of the blooms creates a mega-redbud explosion, that makes you do a double take. Like all redbud trees, 'Pink Pom Poms' has captivating heart shaped leaves and small bright purple flower clusters (wait No. It has huge mega-redbud flowers!). It is also sterile, so no seed pods in the yard. Redbuds are hearty and disease resistant trees, and can tolerate a wide range of soil and light conditions and 'Pink Pom Poms' also shares the characteristics. It grows about 20 ft. high and 15 ft. wide at maturity.
