Thimbles protect cable from wear and tear. They help to distribute the load on the cable over a larger area, thereby increasing the life of the cable.

Furthermore it protects the cable from material fatigue and bein cut wire by wire over time at the point of attachment.Our thimbles come in cold-rolled steel (zinc plated).

Our miniature stainless steel thimble for 1/32” and 3/64” cable has no applicable military specification while our larger thimble for 3/64” and 1/16” cable meets all Military Specifications.
