Ceramic Paintbrush Holder Every painter needs a painter's cup! This ceramic paintbrush holder is designed with the artist in mind. The paintbrush holder has indents at the top to rest your bush, No more worrying about smashing your paint brush bristles in the cup. There are grooves at the bottom of the painter's cup to help you clean the paint of of you brushes. The cup is big enough to hold a good amount of water, without it being so big it takes up precious work space. This is the perfect gift to treat yourself or the artist in your life. Due to the beautiful gold sun and moon overglaze decal this cup is NOT microwave safe. Handwashing is preferred. How It’s Made My pottery is made out of a durable stoneware. Each piece I make goes through many stages before it reaches your home. Each stage of the process is done with care and skill to ensure I am making you the best piece of art that I can. *I first throw the piece on the wheel. *I then have to leave the piece to dry so that it can be trimmed and refined. This stage is called leatherhard. This is where I trim, and add the texture that many of my pieces have. * After I do a final drying before it goes into the kiln for the first time. The first firing is called the bisque firing. *After the bisque firing, I paint on the glaze. *Finally it goes into its last and final firing. *I inspect each piece, and sand the bottoms to make them smooth. After all of those steps it is finally ready for you! Features • Cup is glazed in a dark blue glaze. The sun and moon picture is a gold overglaze decal. • Size: approximately 4" H x 3 1/2 " W (opening).
