A silicone onlay is the perfect tool to use in order to create perfect patterns on almost any surface. The silicone mat will cut the design from almost any moldable material like fondant or clay. It will hold the design in its structure so the entire onlay can be lifted vertically and then applied to the cake. This mat is easy to use and flexible so that it can form around any surface. This mat is designed so that the pattern can be matched up and repeated around the entire cake.

Marvelous Molds Daisy Chain Silicone Onlay

The Damask Pattern Silicone Onlay is the perfect tool for creating raised, 3D damask designs for cake decorating. While designed for fondant covered cakes, Onlays can be used on buttercream cakes provided the cake is thoroughly refrigerated prior to application. Apply the Onlay while the buttercream is firm and cold, using piping gel or edible glue. The design measures approximately 6-1/4 x 4 inches.
