Amben Merenten is a community space design based on the reading environment and community creativity. Located in Karang Tal Village of Kayangan, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. An area that is still thick with culture and spiritual values makes this area has its own value and characteristic. The name "Amben Merenten" is taken from the building concept that brings amben or a seat on the “Berugak” (traditional Sasak building) as part of the design. The word Merenten has the meaning of brothers in Sasak language, which is then represented by the attachment of space and elevation games to differentiate the activities in it. interaction and a sense of kinship become stronger so that every community has a sense of responsibility and a sense of belonging to the place. This design concept tries to raise the value social community life society and elements of regionalism. two this aspect is then raised to be the general concept of this design.
