As an adult, I learned English and Spanish, and now I'm also studying Chinese and Russian. For beginners, I find it best to start by learning basic grammar and vocabulary. For intermediate level and above, it depends on your preference, we can focus on conversation or working on JLPT exam, read news articles together, etc. I have over 7 years of experience working for Japanese and American financial firms in Tokyo's financial district. Much of that experience involved verbal and written translation between senior Japanese and American business people. If you are starting a new job with a Japanese firm, or have a temporary posting in Japan, I can help you prepare with the language and skills necessary to succeed! - Over 4000 hours of experience giving Japanese lessons - Worked with kids, adults, business professionals - I use Genki or Minna no Nihongo for beginners, but most important part of our lesson is that I will make you speak, rather than I explain the grammar for 30minutes. - Shinkaizen Master for JLPT preparation, In the trial lesson, we will refine your needs, have demo lesson to show you my lesson style.
