The base is powered by 3 AA batteries, and is completely sealed so you may have your cake decorator mold the base into the top tier of your cake. It is truly a lovely look for your wedding cake. Or, if you'd like, you may order one for each of your reception tables. They make beautiful centerpieces. Two first names and your wedding date may be personalized. We will engrave layout and font as shown. You may decide that you want your etched acrylic cake topper with or without the lit base piece. We offer the lit base as an optional piece, with an on/off switch. The base is powered by 3 AA batteries for several hours of continuous use.
