Oil Pastels apply with excellent coverage and textures resulting in a painterly style onto mixed media and canvas papers or smooth artist canvas and linen. They are delightful to use beginning with the ease of a drawing and resulting with a painterly style. Easy cleanup requires soap and water only. In this 2-day workshop, you’ll practice and create with special techniques unique for this medium such as sgraffito, stippling, scumbling and smooth blending, to name a few. Observe instructor demonstrations, enjoy guided practice, and then create your unique art from favorite land or sea images.
