Years ago, after trying many that looked similar, we sourced what we think to be some of the the best thread snips available. So good in fact that these are issued to each of our sewing employees when they start working here. 

We were finally able to get our hands on enough to be able to offer them to you all. Hand crafted in Japan from high carbon steel, these little snips have many uses beyond just trimming threads.
