Simple and timeless office scissors produced and hand-sharpened by experienced bladesmiths in the heart of Japan's cutlery production, Seki City, Gifu.
Canary's office scissors are designed with timelessness in mind.
There's no need to change what isn't broken, and this classic scissors design has been working perfectly for decades. What Hasegawa Cutlery's Canary brand does differently, however, is to improve the standard of quality.
All Hasegawa Cutlery blades are made and sharpened in Seki City, Gifu. Seki is known as one of the three blade-producing capitals of the world, alongside Sheffield in England and Solingen in Germany.
Hasegawa/Canary blades are made out of high-quality stainless steel, and sharpened and polished by experienced craftsmen on whetstones, before finally being inspected one by one and moving on to the molding process.
One handy feature of these scissors is that the resin grip can be easily removed from the blades for cleaning, disposal or repair. These scissors' blades are able to be resharpened.
