Milled in the USA from fine cabinet-grade 3/4-inch thick and sturdy plywood. Steam will not penetrate these boards to damage what's underneath as sometimes happens with wool pressing mats. Our clamp-on model uses a patent-pending cantilever design that works as a desk/table extension board secured with a strong but easy-to-attach auto-adjusting clamp. It fits securely to a table or desk with thickness up to 1.5 and is especially convenient for use with RV and camper dinette tables!
