Hide Glue in Cake Form

A natural animal hide glue made from pure animal protein which has been reconstituted into a cake form to make for a more easily dissolving and easy to use form of hide glue than typical granules. Excellent adhesive strength for gluing paper, board, leather, and fabrics. Removable by swelling adhesive with heat or steam.Typically cake is gently heated in a glue pot or double boiler to 140-150 degrees F, and reduced approximately 5-10% with water until desired thickness is achieved.
