Black bucket set, 5 gallon capacity with Grit Guard bucket bottom and resealable Seal Range lid. The use of a bucket bottom greatly reduces the risk of washing scratches on the painted surfaces of your car.

We strongly suggest that you use the two bucket method to wash your car. The first boiler is filled with water and serves as a rinse for your washing mitten, before returning to the soapy water of the second bucket and continuing the washing.

Fireball Bucket Dirt Trap (Grit Guard)

The Grit Guard is structured to fit firmly into the bottom of a Fireball Wash Bucket preventing any movement from the guard. It simply acts as a filter trap; removing dirt, minerals, grit, mud, and grime from the cleaning mitt. Once dirt settles, the Grit Guard keeps the contaminants at the bottom of the bucket into four quadrants, so the water above the Grit Guard cannot be disturbed. This simple, yet cost-effective method, protects painted surfaces from being scratched and saves your paint from swirl marks during handwashing.

Directions for use:

Simply place in the bottom of a Fireball Wash Bucket
Add soap, water, and clean wash mitt
After washing a section of the vehicle, simply drag the wash mitt across the Grit Guard to remove any contaminants from the mitt
Repeat throughout the wash process

Grit Guard Bucket Insert

Grit Guard insert goes in the bottom of any 3.5 (or up) gallons and that keeps the dirt in the bottom of your bucket. Rubbing your sponge or wash mitt inside your bucket on the Grit Guard will release dirt from your favorite washing tool. The barriers on the bottom end of the Grit Guard acts as a wave stopper and make sure the grim stays at the bottom everytime you pour your wash mitt in the bucket.

For a swirl free washing and to ensure maximum protection of your car's finish, we suggest you use 2 Buckets and 2 Grit Guard. The 2 Bucket Wash Technique makes it so easier to clean your car. It's common sense! The product radial designed surface extracts particles such as dirt, grit, and grime from your wash mitt, providing a clean, scratch-free wash mitt, every time you go back to the bucket for water. Clean your wash mitt in the first bucket, and go in the 2nd bucket with your soapy water for a perfect cleanup!

The Grit Guard Dolly with the 3 heavy-duty caster wheels is the highest performance dolly from Grit Guard. Built with quality and toughness in mind, this one has nothing to do with the smaller wheel model.

The Grit Guard Dolly enables quick and smooth movement of your wash bucket around the vehicule. Made of heavy duty urethane, the Dolly casters are solid enough to support 250 lbs.

5 Wheels total, while 2 of them can be locked up to help working on inclines. Great tool to add to your detailing inventory.

Grit Guard Dolly Connector Plate

The Grit Guard Dolly Connector is made of robust diamond plate material. It easily connects two dollies together to allow you to drag your two buckets easily. The connector fits easily between the dollys and the wheels (see photo #2). Works equally well on Grit Guard Dolly models with 2 and 3 wheels.

What is the two-bucket technique?
The two-seal washing method allows you to rinse your glove thoroughly in the first seal (water only) and then move to the second seal that contains your soap solution. With proper washing technique, you will notice that your bucket with soapy water contains no or very little dirt. This tells you that very little dirt has been brought onto the surface of your vehicle by your washing glove.
Without Grit Guard, the dirt comes back to the surface, clings to your washing mitten and will be transferred to the surface when your mitten passes over the car and this is the last thing you want for your vehicle!
