If you're at or heading to Coachella, you're going to want to make what hairstylist Matt Fugate has deemed his "hippie halo braid" hairstyle part of your festival uniform. Here's how to re-create it: To prep hair, spritz with a little hairspray for texture, separate a slight section at the hairline (this section is a smooth section around the face that will wrap around the ears at the end), and apply pomade (he used CHI Pliable Polish) for control. Next, divide the rest of the hair into two sections down the back of the head with your finger, then flip your head over and start braiding the hair, directing the braid up the back of the neck. Make sure not to make the shape too wide at the bottom. Once the braid has been completed at the top of the head, clip in place so you can re-create on the other side. With each side braided, wrap them around the crown and over the ears and secure at the nape of the neck. To finish with the first hairline section (originally left out), drape these both back and pin at nape to frame the style. Distress the look by rubbing
