Speedball Underglazes are ideal for a detailed painting, sgraffito decoration, watercolor effects, free brush painting, and mishima decoration. These opaque underglazes will not move or bleed. Originally designed to perform in a wide firing range, Cone 06-6, these Underglazes can be successfully fired at Cone 10. All colors are dinnerware safe when used and fired as directed. All colors are lead-free.

When left unglazed, underglaze has a soft, velour look. Glaze with clear matte glaze for a satin finish, or gloss glaze to intensify color. Mix to create hundreds of colors. Apply to greenware before firing, or on 04 bisque and cover with a glaze before firing. Color remains true when fired to Cone 05/06 underglaze or fired to Cone 6. Lead-free. If left unglazed, Velvet Underglazes should not be used on surfaces which come in contact with food or drink.

UG-32 Cone 06: (1st image) Cocoa will fire matte without addition of a clear glaze. To intensify color or for use on dinnerware, apply clear or matte clear glaze. Cone 6: (2nd image) No change.
