Fireline is considered by many the strongest fiber you can get for bead stringing. In beadweaving where strength can be critical (crystals and other beads can cut your thread), Fireline is the go-to. It is a pre-waxed braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene, which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has unbelievably high tensile strength. It will fit a #12 English beading needle. Made in America by Berkley, a well-respected company in the fishing industry, and distributed by The Beadsmith. We recommend cutting Fireline with a flush cutter. Fireline is not intended to be used with crimp beads. We have found that color can come off the Smoke Grey while beading and the way to avoid this is to run a paper towel or dryer sheet along the thread before you use it. Sold by the spool of 15
