Like its cotton counterpart, the metallic floss is made up of 6 strands that are divisible, meaning depending on the fabric you are stitching on, you can separate the strands to use what you need. When stitching on 14-count Aida or 28-count linen, two strands of metallic floss usually provides the right coverage. Use it on its own, or combine it with cotton embroidery floss for a subtle shine.
