Ipe (pronounced ee-pay) is an exotic hardwood from South America. As one of the densest hardwoods, IPE is ideal for decks and outside projects. The wood has a warm, rich color of golden brown to dark brownish red. IPE is eco-friendly and resistant to mold, fire, weather and pests. Due to its beautiful color, it is often used interior as well as exterior.  The 2X4 has eased edges. Limited stock - for larger orders, lead time can be 7-10 days. SHIPPING NOTE: Our longest length is 7'10 when shipping UPS or FedEx. 8' foot orders can be shipped motor freight with additional fees.
