This paper cord was used for the seat weaving of for e.g. Hans Wegner CH24 (Wishbone) Y-Chairs (approx. 130m needed for 1 chair) Carl Hansen CH25 need approx. 400 meters of paper cord. The woven paper cord seats seen in many of Hans J. Wegner's chairs, for example the Wishbone Chair, CH46, CH22 and CH44, usually require no or very little maintenance, as the strong paper cord is designed to last for years. The paper cord is used on all Carl Hansen models: Wegner Y-chairs CH36 and CH37, PP furniture, Peacock chair, PP68 and more. Paper cord is a natural, cool, comfortable and durable material.
