While designed for fondant covered cakes, Onlays can be used on buttercream cakes provided the cake is thoroughly refrigerated prior to application. Apply the Onlay while the buttercream is firm and cold, using piping gel or edible glue. The design measures approximately 6-1/4 x 4 inches.
