Check out this heavy duty National ice crusher made well before the slick bullet style used later in the 50s and 60s. This crusher is built for longtime use. Very heavy duty metal, but it has a bit of a design flaw. At least that's what the previous owner thought. They fashioned a board with a bit of hardware to hold it down as they went to town crushing their ice. Fun and functional, very industrial looking, so cool. 11 " x 12" is the size of the board and the crusher is about 8.5" tall. National logo stamped into the metal base - awesome. Probably was painted at one time as most come in metal grey. Still so cool! Great conversation piece.
