The Crown #187GW Guitar Fret Saw is a very fine toothed Gents type saw specifically designed to cut exotic hardwoods typically used on guitar frets. The 16 TPI (teeth per inch) blade cuts cleanly and precisely on the pull stroke, leaving a very narrow kerf of just .023". Due to the high tooth count, this saw can also be used to cut non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper, and aluminum. Brass back for extra blade stiffness and improved accuracy. Blade is 10" long and has a 1-5/8" depth of cut. Stained Beech wood handle.
