Each clip measures 3/8" wide by 1 1/6" long have with seam markings of 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" (5 mm, 7 mm, and 10 mm) on the base. These clips have a wide opening for holding multiple layers of fabric. They have a curved top and flat bottom for easy feeding to the presser foot. It won't damage or distort the fabric and no more pin holes and or puckering caused by straight pins. These clips are a great alternative to pins. My husband loves these clips. I tend to drop my straight pins (not intentional) on the floor and he is the one that usually finds them stuck in his toes. No joke. It is sort of an on going joke in my house.
