I handmake each of these wooden sliding boards used to assist people with disabilities to transfer from surface to surface. This board provides a bridge between surfaces to ensure an individual’s safety and give them support. Each sliding board is made of baltic birch plywood for strength and is approximately 9 inch wide, 25 inches long, and 1/2 inch thick. The edges are rounded to make it easier to slide onto the board. The board can also includes a hand-hold. We limit these boards to a total length of 30". You can find longer boards in the "Long Board" listing where we make the boards out of 3/4 inch thick plywood. Each board is sanded and finished with polyurethane to decrease friction, make it easier to use, and assist with easy cleaning. Specify if you want the ends to be circular or square and if you want a handhold, square or at an angle, on one end or in the middle. I love making customizations for different items. If you're looking for a custom size, would prefer a different wood, would like handles or a bevel added, or have any other customization requests, please send me a message.
