Scrolls are digitally printed with permanent inks on text weight paper. Paper measures about 5" wide, and can be up to 9" long. The scrolls have handpainted wooden finials and come all assembled, rolled up and secured with ribbon tied in a bow.
To customize the scrolls, please send all specifics in "Notes to shop", the personalization box, or a separate Message. Please send wording as text I can copy/paste, not as an attachment such as jpegs, pdfs or Word files. To stay on schedule, please send final, complete and proofread wording at the time of purchase - there should not be any wording changes after initial layout is sent. Text should be about as long as sample pictured - longer text may not be accommodated. If a color and/or font style chart is not offered with listing, color and font styles may not be customized. Please note script style fonts in all caps are very hard to read. Text considerably longer than sample wording will make font size considerably smaller. Metallic ink colors for text or illustration are not offered. Colors, where applicable, marked as too light for text may not be readable.
Important note for customization:
Please send complete wording when placing order. Editing wording is not included in the pricing. Please do not just send names/date/location to be replaced in sample text, send complete and final wording. Please do not include font style references within the text, numbered bullets, extra spaces to "center" wording. Pricing is to format exact wording as sent, not for edits to add/remove words or spaces. Instructions should be sent separately, or a clean copy of wording should also be sent alongside.
Production schedule:
5 business days for layout and production, each round of edits will take 1 additional business day. 1 round of edits is included, additional edits are $5 each round. Production starts once layout is approved. If no approval/changes are provided within 24 hours of sending layout, production will start according to layout provided.
To mail scrolls, please use bubble mailer envelopes, mailing tubes or boxes.
Custom made to order by hand in a small studio in VT from domestic or imported materials.
