Measures 3x3
All of our patches come with iron on backing. It should last between 30-50 washes. We recommend washing on a cold cycle to keep it in tip-top condition. We also recommend either sewing on or using fabric glue (E6000, for example) to keep the garment permanently secured.
IRON-ON EMBROIDERED PATCH INSTRUCTIONS
*for best results, wash your garment before application without using fabric softener.
1. Set iron to medium-high heat.
2. Lay garment on hard surface (not an ironing board).
3. Place patch face up wherever you’d like.
4. Cover with a piece of fabric. You can use cloth or a cotton bandana or just about anything. This is so you do not scorch your patch.
5. Apply firm pressure straight down with heated iron for about 45 seconds. You aren’t ironing out any wrinkles here so keep the pressure constant/firm.
6. Turn the garment inside out and iron the back of the patch for 30 seconds. No need for covering the back side with cloth here. But don’t skip this step! It is important.
7. Gently check if backing is adhered to garment. Let garment cool and enjoy your new patch!
Allowing the patch time to cool will help set the heat-n-bond backing onto your garment. If the patch doesn’t appear to be adhered all the way then you can repeat steps 4-6.
