Museum Series Gessobord is a semi-smooth, semi-absorbent surface excellent for oil and acrylic painting. Gessobord is made from premium warp-resistant 1/8 profile FSC-certified Hardbord™ that is protected with Ampersand's proprietary Archiva-Seal™ and coated with professional-grade acrylic gesso. It is an acid-free, archival, museum-quality panel. Total profile depth (panel and 2 cradle): 2 1/8.The superior quality acrylic gesso ground does not dull colors and the slight, even texture provides exceptional brush control for fine detail. Gessobord is perfect for plein air, palette knife work, heavy impasto, wipe-out, and glazing techniques.Ampersand's premium, warp-resistant, FSC-certified Hardbord™ ensures your artwork is supported to prevent damage from warping, bowing, or movement.
