Instant Precooked Acid-Free Wheat Paste No. 301

A general purpose starch based bookbinding adhesive with excellent properties for use on paper, binders board, leather and other porous materials. This pre-cooked version simply requires the addition of cold water to make a ready to use paste. Starch adhesives are sought after by bookbinders and conservators for their simplicity, and known for their excellent aging and permanency as well as reversibility. Suitable for paper-to-paper adhesion in applications such as adhering bookplates, hinging, repairing torn pages and corners. Can also be mixed with PVA adhesives or methyl cellulose.
