THIS LISTING IS FOR A PATTERN PDF DOWNLOAD ONLY (see Terms and Conditions Of Use further down). This is my original pattern for a crocheted case that will protect your journal from daily wear and tear. It features a functional covered pocket on the front of the case to hold your favorite stationery. The pattern includes instructions for single, large and double pockets, so you can tailor the case to suit your needs. The finished cover should comfortably fit a standard A5 journal (e.g. A5 Leuchtturm 1917 and other similar sized journals/planners/notebooks/exercise books). Pattern difficulty: Beginners onwards. (It is assumed the crocheter already knows the basic crochet stitches. There is an explanation within the pattern for working a 2 dctog decrease. Includes an abbreviation key for both UK and US crochet stitches.) Yarn/tools required: Chunky weight yarn - approx. 150 metres (164 yards) or DK weight yarn held double.
