It is designed for splicing textured surfaces, especially those materials which might require high tensile strength at elevated temperatures. The conformable backing provides high tensile strength and good solvent resistance. It will not shrink or rot, and is tough and durable with superior abrasion and puncture resistance.

Applications requiring heat treatment followed by clean removal of the tape with little or no stain. As a back up strip for submerged arc welding. Permanent sealing of high temperature ducts or chambers. High temperature applications requiring high tensile strength, good holding power and abrasion resistance.
