Traditional lightweight (35/3) unbleached linen thread is considered the highest quality lightweight binder's thread. It is imported from Northern Ireland. Available on spools of 300 yards only. (50 grams). Unwaxed. Use size #3 needles. Typically a thinner or lightweight thread is used when sewing many signatures together and you want to lessen the swell in the spine.
