Ez Squeegee Replacement floor epoxy blades. Flat blades are generally used for grout coating over a epoxy flooring broadcast coating or sealing an epoxy floor when no required mil thickness is required. Can also be used by epoxy installation experts who don't rely on the notched squeegees to set the epoxy floor thickness. For those that don't want to worry about precision, the V Notch Squeegee is best for laying coatings at 80-100 sf per gallon- typically your moisture barrier coatings, light colored pigments and especially metallics- the more the merrier the swirl. The Scalloped squeegee, getting 133-200 sf per gallon is great for epoxy flooring 'base to broadcast' coats. Leaving enough material for enough millage to grab the floor coating broadcast but allowing the epoxy applicator to not leave random puddles which could cause epoxy bleed through of the broadcast material. Note; obviously the range of square footage epoxy application yeild is pretty wide on these flooring squeegees. Naturally they have flex, pushing into the blade while moving the epoxy floor coating will go on the higher side of the yeild while just floating the squeegee will go on the lower, more consumption side of the square footage yeild. It is best for those trying the EZ Squeegee to pay attention to their yeild rates and preset their commercial floor epoxy installation to properly measure application. It only takes one project to become an expert and realize the different means of laying the product to get your desired epoxy floor thickness.
