This has been in the folks basement since I can remember. If the sales sticker did not say Cosmetic's then I could have bought this can for my own use, must have been my mother. My dad or myself put it in the basement though. It's red, white, and blue and always looked cool way before 'aw Snap!' made a poor attempt at being a cool short liner. Original price stickers/sales tag really help to add appeal to all collectibles, just a little bit of history about the item. Gives the item some individuality over similar items, adds to value and appreciation rate. For instance: This SNAP DE-ICER can would make a great gift for your girlfriend, or just women in general that are into cars, maybe she has a DIVA DEN? This vintage can having the original tag, and being sold from the cosmetics dept. would make a great gift for her. The original store was called Total Discount I'm pretty sure, those early days there was a SINGER's DRY GOODS store across the street. Maybe SINGER's sold SNAP at cosmetic's so Total Discount followed suit? True story, 90% sure
